Dirt Floor Records presents its own Songwriter Series with the goal of fostering communities of like-minded artists in various cities across the country. In addition to encouraging collaboration, these nights offer artists the opportunity to play in a relaxed and open environment.
Currently, the Los Angeles series will be held monthly at The Rapp in Santa Monica. The Rapp is the oldest brick building in Santa Monica. It was once the Rapp Saloon in the late 1800's, and is now incorporated into the Hostelling International Santa Monica location (a 260-bed hostel that feeds an international audience into the Rapp on Songwriter Series nights).
